Visual Identity·2025
Ygor Lourenço

Brand Concept

For the creation of the visual identity of Ygor Lourenço, a civil engineer specializing in consulting and construction projects, we developed an icon deeply rooted in the physical reality of the construction site. Inspired by the intricate structural beam grids and the robust shoring systems that support buildings from the ground up, the symbol is an essential translation of civil engineering elements. Just as the metallic struts and scaffolding form a secure foundation for concrete structures, the concept was designed to represent absolute solidity, precision, and safety — the fundamental pillars of Ygor's engineering practice. Additionally, the minimalist and abstract composition incorporates the initials Y and L. By stripping away the literal and focusing on geometric intersections, the design maintains a modern and functional aesthetic without compromising conceptual clarity. It reflects both the meticulous planning of architectural blueprints and the hands-on expertise required to manage complex, active worksites. The selected color palette — dark blue and sky blue, grounded by a strict black and white base — was purposefully chosen to bridge the gap between technical rigor and modern approachability. The dark blue anchors the brand, conveying trust, professionalism, and the heavy, industrial credibility of structural frameworks. In contrast, the sky blue adds lightness and innovation, reminiscent of the open skies above a rising project. The stark contrast of black and white mirrors the unapologetic nature of raw construction materials. In this way, the visual identity of Ygor Lourenço consistently reflects the brand's expertise and unwavering commitment. It honors the raw, structural reality of the field while ensuring a strong, elevated presence aligned with the future of the civil engineering sector.
